It is with great pleasure that I announce that Jonathan Beran has recently joined Arnotts Technology Lawyers in the role of Senior Associate.
Jonathan is an experienced Senior Lawyer and ex-General Counsel with more than 15 years of legal experience in corporate/commercial, disputes and regulatory matters.
He brings a wealth of local and international experience to the team, having worked in private practice in Sydney, London and Tel Aviv, first as a litigator, and then as a technology lawyer in a number of in-house executive legal roles.
Jonathan has significant experience advising owners and senior management on the structuring, drafting and negotiating of a range of complex commercial agreements, including software and other enterprise technology sales and service transactions. He has developed particular expertise advising on IP and data privacy, and has an excellent understanding of the gaming and online payments industries. He has acted for clients ranging from start-ups to large multinationals, on a variety of commercial disputes, both in Australia and abroad.
Jonathan brings an outcomes-focused, commercially pragmatic approach to his practice.
…and when he isn’t working he loves spending time with his kids, reading, watching documentaries and listening to music. He also tries to get out cycling and skiing as often as he can.
